Scores

Overview

The scores influence a lot in the course of a game. Knowing what each one does is critical to success.

Economy

Economy score represents a territory’s ability to produce resources and goods and also signifies a strong engineering basis. The higher this score, the better a territory can contribute towards the creation of large scale projects for the empire. Additionally, a higher economy score boosts economic research. Finally, a higher economy score contributes to faster creation of cures to plagues affecting the empire.

Military

Military score represents a territory’s ability to build and support an army. The higher this score, the stronger each army in this territory is. A higher military score also boosts military research. Finally, a higher military score contributes to the empire’s ability to create WMD’s including plagues.

Social

Social score represents a territory’s ability to manage and maintain order as well as the aptitude in the arts. The higher this score, the less effect unrest has on the territory’s economy. A higher social score also boosts social research. Finally, a higher social score increases the rate at which the empire can produce agents.

Research

Research score represents resources and infrastructure geared towards the acquisition of new science. This score contributes to the base research values for the entire empire. While this has no effect exclusive to the territory alone the empire-wide importance is great. This score directly sets the baseline with which all all three research types are derived. Without this score research will be slowed down significantly even with higher other scores.

Unrest Reduction

Unrest Reduction(Happiness)

Unrest reduction score represents luxuries and policies geared towards appeasing the population and improving the quality of life. The higher this score the less effect unrest has in the territory. For each unrest reduction point in the territory, one point of unrest is negated. As unrest can have a dangerous effect if left unchecked, this is an important stat to be mindful of.
